G & B Patent Seminar 2005

Greenblum & Bernstein, P.L.C., an Intellectual Property law firm in the Washington D.C. area, will be holding a U.S. Patent Law Seminar for Korean-speaking participants from May 4-13, 2005. The Seminar will cover all aspects of patent practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as topics relating to litigation and negotiation of patent disputes.

During this period, the three-day Litigation portion will include morning and afternoon sessions on each of May 4 and May 5, and a morning session on May 6, and the five-day Prosecution portion will include two morning lectures by U.S. attorneys, an afternoon period for study of examples based on the topics covered in the day’s lecture, followed by an interactive Korean language discussion period with Korean patent attorney Paul Lee. One day will include a comparison of Korean and US Patent Systems with Paul Lee.

The Greenblum & Bernstein attorneys who developed and will present the Seminar represent approximately 150 years of combined work experience in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. They served in a variety of positions as Patent Examiners, Supervisory Patent Examiners, Special Programs Examiners, and Administrative Patent Judges at the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Their unique perspectives and insights into patent practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will be represented in their presentation of the Seminar materials.

The Seminar will also provide separate events for Cultural Exploration and Activities. The activities will include Social Events, a River Cruise, a day tour of Washington D.C., and Golf.
