Experience

Andrew M. Calderon joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Calderon gained more than ten years of experience prosecuting patents and counseling clients at intellectual property boutiques and general practice firms in the Washington, D.C. area. During law school, Mr. Calderon served as a clerk for Magistrate Jordan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Calderon also has experience as a mechanical engineer in the defense contracting industry.

Practice Areas

Mr. Calderon supervises patent application preparation and prosecution in the mechanical and electrical arts as a member of the firm's patent procurement practice group. Mr. Calderon also supervises the preparation of validity and infringement opinions as well as activities related to intellectual property transactions as a member of the firm's client counseling, licensing and technology transfer practice group. Mr. Calderon specializes in conducting due diligence analyses associated with business transactions.
