Experience

Azza Jayaprakash joined the firm in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jayaprakash served as a law clerk in the intellectual property department of a general practice law firm in Chicago. Ms. Jayaprakash also served as a law clerk at a patent firm in Tokyo. During law school, Ms. Jayaprakash served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amy St. Eve of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. Jayaprakash served as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health and at the Yale University Center for Structural Biology.

Practice Areas

Ms. Jayaprakash prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the biotechnology, chemical and software arts as a member of the firm's patent procurement practice group.
