Experience

John Mazzola joined the firm in 1989. Mr. Mazzola has extensive experience performing patentability, validity, and infringement searches, predominantly in the electrical and mechanical arts.

Practice Areas

Mr. Mazzola prepares and prosecutes patent applications as a member of the firm's patent procurement practice group. Mr. Mazzola also assists in the preparation of infringement and validity opinions as a member of the firm's client counseling, licensing and technology transfer practice group. Mr. Mazzola specializes in collecting relevant information and identifying defenses to assertions of patent infringement, as well as identifying infringement of clients’ patents.
