Experience
Daniel B. Moon joined the firm in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moon served at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Primary Examiner, where he was responsible for examining patent applications related to packaging machinery and processes. Mr. Moon served on details in the Office of Petitions and the PCT Legal Office. Mr. Moon also served as a Legal Advisor in the Office of Patent Legal Administration.
Practice Areas
Mr. Moon supervises preparation and prosecution of patent applications as a member of the firm's patent procurement practice group. Mr. Moon also prepares infringement and validity opinions as a member of the firm's client counseling, licensing and technology transfer practice group. As a member of the client counseling, licensing and technology transfer practice group, Mr. Moon also develops strategies for portfolio management and licensing.
