Experience

Steven Wegman joined the firm in 1988. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wegman gained six years of experience as a patent attorney at another law firm.

Practice Areas

Mr. Wegman prepares and prosecutes patent applications as a member of the patent procurement practice group. As a member of the firm's patent procurement practice group, Mr. Wegman is additionally responsible for coordinating PCT and foreign patent filings and prosecution with foreign law firms. Mr. Wegman specializes in a number of analog and digital electronics technologies, including xDSL, MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 coding/decoding schemes, and digital rights management associated with audio and video content delivered via DVD, HDTV, and the Internet. In addition, Mr. Wegman is knowledgeable in opto-electronic control systems utilized in DVD and magneto-optical drives, wireless communications, facsimile systems, and electronic camera focusing/image tracking systems.
