As an associate, Ali Imam focuses on patent drafting, prosecution, and client counseling with an emphasis on electrical engineering and computer science technologies. He works with emerging and high-technology companies in a broad range of electrical and computer sciences, including computer hardware and architecture, software, graphical user interfaces, communication networks, fraud detection, network infrastructure, digital signal processing, image compression, LEDs, databases, network security, optics, solid-state circuitry, video and image systems, digital photography devices including compound lens systems, image-sensing semiconductor devices, semiconductor memory devices, and business methods. Also experienced in Oral Hearing before the PTAB, conducting Inter Partes and Ex Parte Reexaminations, opinion writing, and evaluating patents on issues pertaining to patent infringement, validity, and patentability, and supporting litigation at Federal Courts. As a former USPTO Primary Examiner, examined thousands of patent applications in the field of Ultrasound and MRI technologies.
