G&B represents the plaintiff, Polymeric Resources Corporation in a trademark infringement suit, seeking to enjoin defendants Richard Pounds and Pounds of Plastic, LLC from using a mark that is confusingly similar to Polymeric’s NYLENE^® trademark. The case is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. On December 10, 2021, the court granted Polymeric’s motion for sanctions against the defendants because the Court concluded that the defendants failed to comply with the Court’s May 13, 2021 Order and timely respond to outstanding discovery requests. The Court also determined that the defendants would be responsible for plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and costs associated with bringing the motion.
